Presentations
As an award-winning scholar in the field of education technology, I find great joy in bridging the world of research and practice by designing interactive presentations and targeted trainings that help schools, districts, colleges, and universities leverage technology to transform teaching and learning.
I have presented more than 110 sessions on teaching and learning with technology over the past decade.
I have also served as a keynote/plenary speaker for several conferences and symposiums, including the Innovation Runs Through it Conference, St. Mark's Symposium on AI in Education, Adelphi University's Teaching and Learning Conference, Kutztown University's Center for Enhancement of Teaching Summer Conference, Wyoming Department of Education's Innovation in Learning Conference, Iowa Association of College for Teacher Education (IACTE) Conference, and Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education (SITE) Conference.
My presentations and trainings are designed to provide participants with a toolkit of ideas, resources, tools, and practical techniques that they can implement right away to make a difference in their schools/classrooms.
Additionally, my sessions encourage participants to critically examine technology from a social justice perspective and identify ways to design learning experiences that are inclusive, accessible, and equitable.
I would be happy to come to your school, district, college, university, or organization (either in person or on Zoom/Microsoft Teams/Google Meet) and present a session that is tailored to meet your needs. Please email me if you are interested in learning more: torrey@umass.edu
